How to get to us

Location of TEDA
TEDA lies at the Tanggu coast area, 50km to downtown Tianjin and 170km to Beijing, it is considered as the east coast gateway to the two metropolises. TEDA boasts a convenient network of transportation, providing easy accessibility from and to nearby port, airports and railway stations.

Location of TII
TEDA International Incubator (TII hereinafter) is located in the Tianda Science Park which is at the centre of TEDA area next to the Taifeng Park.

By Road/Expressway
TEDA is located east of Tianjin City and borders on downtown Tanggu, a coastal District of Tianjin. Arriving at TEDA, just follow the signs for the 4th Avenue and Nanhai Road: our science park is just located southwest of the crossroads, and the entrance is on the 4th Avenue.

By driving from Beijing, you can take the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu (BTT) Expressway and it is only 40-50 minutes’ drive to TEDA. For your interest, the construction work of the second BTT expressway is almost completed and it will be put into service soon in summer of 2008.

Driving from Tianjin city, you can either take the Tianjin-Binhai Expressway or the Tianjin-Tanggu Highway from downtown Tianjin. The journey takes approx 25 minutes and 50 minutes respectively.

By Rail
There are two railway stations in the vicinity, TEDA Railway Station and Tanggu Railway Station.

TEDA Railway Station lies in the east of TEDA (4km from the TII). There is a shuttle train services between TEDA and Beijing/Tianjin almost every hour around 7:30am to 19:00pm. The journey is about 40minutes from Beijing to Tianjin and an hour from Beijing to TEDA . Details of the updated train timetables are available by dialing 022-60671052

Tanggu Railway Station is in downtown Tanggu (5 km from the TII). Currently journey between Beijing and Tanggu is about an hour and half. To learn the up-to-date train timetables, please call 022-25892306

Nevertheless, due to the completion of high-speed trains of Beijing-Tianjin inter-city railway system, the trip between two cities will be shortened to only 30 minutes.

By Coach
Hourly coach services are available between Beijing Zhaogongkou Coach Station and TEDA Coach Station, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours via BTT Expressway. TEDA Coach Station (situated at the crossroads of the 3rd Avenue and Dongting Road) is approx. 3 km from the TII. There are also shuttle buses for airports in Tianjin and Beijing. By Air
TEDA is adjacent to two airports—Beijing Capital International Airport (180km from TEDA or 2-hour drive via expressway) and Tianjin Binhai International Airport (38km from TEDA or 25-40 minutes drive via expressway). At both airports you can take an airport shuttle bus that goes directly to TEDA.

By Metro/Light-rail
By taking Metro Line 9 (a.k.a. Tianjin-Binhai Light-rail) from Zhongshanmen Station in Tianjin City(or transfer from Tianjin Railway Station), you can arrive at TEDA in 40 minutes. Get off at TEDA Station or Citizen Plaza Station then take a taxi to find us in 10 minutes.
