TEDA Biomedical Service Center

The 6000sqm TEDA Biomedical Service Center is located in Tianda Science Park which was established on the purposes of promoting commercialization of local bio-tech achievements and offering public services such as project R&D and pre-production testing. There has been an initial investment of 10 million RMB into lab instrument procurement, and the 3000sqm general lab spaces have been furnished and equipped, featuring specialized laboratories and an equipment sharing system to provide bio-tech businesses with ideal hardware environment as well as professional technical services and support. The general lab units opened on 1 August 2008 and the technological and equipment sharing services were officially launched on 1 September 2008.

Tianjin Binhai IC Design Service Center (BICDS)

Located in Tianda Science Park, the 1,450sqm Tianjin Binhai IC Design Service Center (BICDS) was officially opened in March 2008 as a non-profit organization providing public services of fundamental technological support. It is a demand-based and market-oriented service provider boasting advanced software and hardware equipment to accommodate simultaneous demands from various sources. Its current service categories include: provision of office spaces, relevant facilities and EDA software; provision of inexpensive or free services in public technology and information; provision of various subsidies according to relevant policies; and, customized solutions for EDA users and assistance in strategic planning and market development.

TEDA Software Service Center

To improve TEDA's public service level and to help solve common problems among the occupiers doing software and information service outsourcing, preparations for the construction of a new platform—Tianjin TEDA Software Service Center is being made under the leadership of the TII by integrating local resources. Phase 1 of the project is already under construction according to the plan, with a total construction area of 200,000 sqm. The center aims to become a professional incubator delivering well-developed incubation systems for TEDA's software sector and to serve as a public platform for marketing and technology development. It is also responsible for the education and training of intellectuals in information security.
