May 2010 – Cadence Training Course: Virtuoso XL Layout Editor

The two-day training course began on 19 May at BICDS, given free by Cadence senior application engineer for R&D engineers with local enterprises including Freescale Qiangxin IC Design Company, InnoSen Technology (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. and Blue Ocean Micro Technologies and postgraduates from universities such as Tianjin University of Technology. 12 out of 14 of the trainees were awarded with the training certificate issued by BICDS afterwards.

Apr 2010 – Cadence Training Course of Encounter Timing System

The free training took place on 13&14 April, 2010 at Binhai IC Design Service Center (BICDS), lectured by a senior engineer of Cadence teaching the use and design methods of EDA tools (Cadence) for university and company users in Tianjin. Except from BICDS staff, the other 15 trainees were basically R&D engineers from Innova Semiconductors, Freescale Qiangxin IC Design Company, Tianjin Polytechnic University as well as postgraduates from Hebei University of Technology, all of whom were granted the certificates issued by BICDS after the training.

Jul 2007 – China IPO Group Lecture

On July 22nd 2007, Mr. Edward Burman, board member of the China IPO Group Ltd.was giving a lecture to train the companies in TII which want to be invested by foreign venture capitals and to be IPO abroad,introducing the development of the science parks in Uk and explaining the process how the companies are to prepare the document and basic info for being visited by foreign venture capitals. 17 companies and some TEDA officials from different offices attended the seminar.
