On December 12th, over 60 students from the EMBA programs of London Business School took a visiting trip to the TII under the leadership of Professor Richard Portes. This was the first time for EMBA students of LBS to visit TBNA and TEDA, and they made TII their first stop in TBNA in order to be informed of the local business environment and to seek for potential opportunities in the future.
A meeting was held in Tianda Science Park for exchange of questions and ideas between the EMBA visitors and representatives from the TII and local enterprises. Four senior managers from different business fields attended the meeting. The TII and business participants made introductive presentations which were then followed by a warm discussion concerning pro-entrepreneurship climate in TEDA. After the meeting, the students paid a short visit to China National Academy of Nanotechnology & Engineering (CNANE) located in Tianda Science Park.

On July 2, 2008, Ms. Marie-France Roger from the World Economic Forum (WEF) paid a visit to the TII. She is the Community Manager of the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), the community of the world's most extraordinary young leaders announced by the WEF each year. The main objective of her visit was to make a field survey of the TII to ensure the smooth preparation for the interaction of the YGLs and the Chinese entrepreneurs in September. As is widely acknowledged, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2008 will be held in Tianjin this year. An item on the agenda is for the YGLs to have a journey of learning by visiting the TII so that they can have a better understanding of today's Chinese enterprisers.
03/03/08 每 Lord Cromer's visit
On March 3 to 4, Lord Cromer, the Chairman of the China IPO Group Limited, visited TEDA and TII, together with the countess and 3 other board members. The delegation was officially greeted by the Vice Director of TEDA government Mr. Ya-min Ai, the Director in Chief of TII, Mr. Xin Li and Deputy Director Hong-Liang Li. The delegation visited 8 occupiers of TII during the two-day's visit and had an initial contact with TEDA Venture Capital Co., Ltd.
21/02/08 每 Central Government officials
On 21 February 2008, two government officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the P. R. C. (MOST) visited the TII on their second trip to TEDA. They were: Mr. Bo'er Li, Inspector of Department of Facilities and Financial Support of the MOST, and Ms. Yuying Zhang, Vice-Director of National Science & Technology Infrastructure Center affiliated to the MOST. Similar to their previous visit to TEDA on December 7, 2007, their visit this time aimed to look into the environment for innovation and enterprise in TEDA, and the guests were accompanied by Vice-Chairman Yamin Ai of the TEDA Administrative Commission, and Director Xucai Yang of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission.

On November 16 2007, a joint visiting group from the Swedish government and the GES Investment Services, Northern Europe's leading research and service provider for Responsible Investments, made an on-the-scene investigation of the local investment environment by visiting the TII. Accompanied by our personnel, the guests paid a short visit to two companies〞Zhongxin Pharmaceuticals and Bonna-Agela Technologies; afterwards the Swedish delegates showed great interest towards the pro-business climate in TEDA.
24/05/07 每 Visitors from Nanning Municipal Government
On 24 May 2007, a group of officials from Nanning (capital city of China's southern province Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region) made an on-the-site investigation trip to the TII. The visitors were from Nanning Municipal Government, Administrative Commission of Nanning High-tech Development Zone, and Nanning New Technology Incubation Center. They received warm welcome from the TII and were given detailed introduction of TEDA and the TII by Director Xin Li and other fellow officials. Furthermore, the two sides held a series of discussions regarding incubation services and future cooperation.
